Margarets Close
Margarets Close compromises of ten single occupancy dwellings where individuals with complex diagnosis are supported to lead fulfilling lives in the community. The single occupancy model enables us to provide support in a truly person-centred way, both safely and effectively.
We provide progressive and outcome-focussed support, under-pinned by a trauma-informed approach and positive behaviour management.
The people we support are likely to have experienced extended periods of time in hospital and complex histories and as such, we create a bespoke, therapeutic support environment to ensure a safe discharge and a platform to succeed in a community-based placement.
Our support teams work in collaboration with our Therapeutic team to ensure the delivery of truly person-centred support that is effectively risk managed, whilst promoting positive risk taking to improve a person’s quality of life and enhance their safe journey into the community.
Teams are recruited based on knowledge, skill and experience specific to the needs and wishes of the individual. We take a robust approach in the development of our teams so that we can offer the highest quality support, this includes weekly therapeutic team meetings, PBM-pro training and guidance from dedicated service Team Leaders.
Dependant on the needs of the individual, regular one to one meetings can be held with our Therapeutic Support Officers to offer psychological support, feedback and guidance.
